How to Use This One-Time Pad (OTP) Generator

• Message: Write or import your plaintext message into the "Message" box.
• Create Key: Click on "Generate Random Key".  This automatically creates a Key with the same number of characters as the message.
  Save the Key because your friend will need it to 'unlock' your encrypted message.
  Do not share the Key with anyone else other than your friend.
• Encryption: Click on "Encrypt Message".
  Copy the encrypted ciphertext message from the 'Result' box and send it to your friend by email.
  Copy the Key and send it by Whatsapp or some other messaging app.
  DO NOT SEND THE MESSAGE AND KEY BY THE SAME MEANS!
• Decryption: Your friend will paste your ciphertext message into the "Message" box, your Key into the "One-Time Pad Key" box and then press "Decrypt Message".  Your original plaintext message will appear in the "Result" box.
• The Reply: Your friend will send you a ciphertext message and a new Key. Paste the ciphertext message into the "Message" box, the new Key into the "One-Time Pad Key" box and press "Decrypt Message".  Your friend's reply should now show in the "Result" box.
• Important: Never reuse a Key, and keep your Key completely secret!
• Note: If nothing happens when you press the "Encrypt Message" button, check that the punctuation in your message is correct. If necessary, delete each punctuation mark and retype it, one after the other.
